Default is there a market for the 95 se 5 spoke wheels?

i understand they are quite rare and hard to come by ones that are in good condition. I happen to have a brand new set in factory boxes and everything. im not selling them right now because i'm still a trial user but what is everyones take on these wheels?

kinda rare but only for 4th gens and mostly ppl might want them if they are cheap but i doubt anyone really absolutely wants them.

with rotas, misc other knockoffs.....i think the market has dwindled

95 SE prelude wheels are legendary to any real 4th genner.

I love those wheels and would trade my sawblades any day for them

i consider myself a "real" 4th genner and i actually don't think those are any better looking than any other stock 4th gen rim

Yeah but they're rare. I'd trade my sawblades for them except that it would cost me money for tire mounting and give me no performance benefit.

^^^ yeah, if the se wheels were in good condition I would, my sawblades have some gouges.. i'd rather save up for something aftermarket. 500 coudl et you almost a set of whatever rota wheels you wanted pr a used set of something else

i actually didnt know there was such a hype about the se's. i got a set from my buddys car cause my sawblades had bald tires and the se's had brand new ones. they look better than the ones i had but didnt know so many people were trying to find them that bad...

Ok, well mine are brand new and have the prelude centercaps and all. However they ahve the red inlays and i dont like it. I might paint the inlays gun metal or silver. I dont know yet. HOw are they from the factory ? gunmetal inlays or silver? i'll post pictures when im finished. If i cant sell em then i'll jsut mount em on my lude. Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure the factory inlay color was silver.

First of all, those are not "SE" wheels. For the first couple of years of the 4th gen bodystyle, those were offered as dealer installed accessories. They were available in red and grey backgrounds. The dealer optional wheels are distict because they seem to have a more polished finish and say prelude in script font across the center cap. The SE wheels have the honda "H" in the center cap.

Those wheels you have are incredibly rare and irreplaceable. Don't ruin them by painting them. One day this early 90's stuff is going to be worth something.

well i took some pictures for you guys. what do you guys think? I'm either going to sell them, because they are just taking up space and im going off to college, or i will just mount em on my car painted. I really dont need to use these as an investment asset. Thats why im going to college for OH yeah, the first picture of the center cap looks like it has scratches but its jsut the clear protective film that is on top of the center cap. yeah, they are that new. I actually just opened that box to take pictures of it. The other one is all taped up ready for paint, but i'll hold off on that

how is it a guise? i admit it, i plan on selling them, but not until my trial status changes. I was simply just asking people about their input on these wheels and testing the waters to see if their would be any interest in them.

I really don't think they are all that either, but they sure would look better than my 15in Accord Rims.

Did you buy those from magautoparts on eBay?

They had a bunch of those but they were all R/H Side.

I got mine for $220 new

I need to know if there is a market for one L/H side Prelude SE wheel. I have had one sitting in the closet for about a year I was going to use it as a hose reel.
