Default h22 eg 1/4 et.'s

i recently swapped a jdm h22a into my eg hatch, and took it to the track. It is basically stock, i have the jdm lsd tranny, a short ram intake, 8lb. flywheel and six puck clutch, also have no cat, and greddy catback.

R/T .101
60' 2.399
330 6.236
1/8 9.379
MPH 78.51
1000 12.095
1/4 14.396
MPH 98.12

I'm wondering if this is a decent time, what i should be running, any comments or suggestions please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ? ?

Is the car is full weight?

If the car is heavy than that's not bad for that 60ft that you got.

Tune the car and get 22" slicks, there's quite a bit of room for improvement.

Hey, in my opinion your 60ft. could be around 2.1 or so on street tires, or around 1.8 with slicks. Which would put you at a high 13 with streets and around a mid 13 with slicks. So keep working at it and you will find the best method for your car.

has anyone with a h22 eg ever ran at the track without the balance shaft belt on? i was reading in the prelude threads and a couple people said you can free up some power by removing the balance shaft belt. just wondering if there is any truth to that?!

yep! check the prelude FAQ.

You could probably spend hours reading about the balance shaft of an H22. I cam to the conclustion that it is useless.. and I regret buying a new belt etc for it.

I ran 13.6 in an EG coupe with no LSD and stock JDM H22 on DRs, I did have a decent suspension though. 2.1-2.2 60fts.

Whats your suspension setup?
