Default close to a grand

so i have been working my *** off and saving cash for some time. whats it gonna be

so far mod wise i have already purchased :aem v2 intake, neuspeed race coils,j's racing c-pillar bar, kuhmo escta mx tires, grounding kit, buddy club prospec exhaust, revo short shifter, spoon resovoir covers,6500k hid's,.

my instinct tells me to hit up the....k-pro!

BUT im not sure if it will unleash the potential it should at this point with such minimum engine modification. i was thinking about a nice set of bc cams,

let me hear your opinions and what you guys would do.

you need to ditch that v2 and get a CAI and a race header. It'll feel like a totally different car. And why are you thinking about bc cams when you dont even have k pro?

I agree, Injen CAI, Race header and maybe the RBC manifold to set yourself up for later mods...

DC is all you need really... Comptech or toda are nice (and make more power) but will take all your savings... The Toda is $1200-1500 I believe.. And yes, a CAI is A LOT better than a SRI... Very noticable.

yeah well if the cai is really that much better i will look into that, but as for dc i dunno im not really feeling it, i wanna build my car right and make a good amount of NA horsepower. i would rather spend 850 or 1150 for something that makes more power then a 400 dollar one that isnt so great.

If you like buddy club they have a new race header out. SSR header is the best and is cheaper than toda i believe. But then youll have to get a new sway bar from a civic for it to fit. and these are really the only bolt on mods you can do without needing k pro.

DC will give you the best bang for the buck... But I feel you on wanting only the best... You just need to be more specific on you question tho.. You said you had $1000, so I told you what to get with that... But good luck with the build up man, keep us posted

of course man, as of today i just installed the revo technica adj. short shifter on my car . very simple installation took about 35 minutes or so.

its pretty good. i would be a lot more disappointed if its price exceeded 60 dollars that i paid for it, it doesnt reducing the shift throws that much. the shifters height was the only key that i was completely satisfied with . but whatever. if it fails im gonna get a neuspeed short shifter.

much more to come , keep you guys posted.
