Default Philly/Balto/DC area auto-x info

I live on the Eastern Shore of MD and there are no auto-x events currently held anywhere nearby. I have been on several Balto/DC sites and it seems attendance is very high at almost all the scheduled events. This is great for the sport but not so much for me who would be driving 2 hrs or more to get 3-4 auto-x runs. Although Im sure the attendance is high in Philly as well what is the average amt of runs you get at these events? Im just trying to make sure that Im not waking up at 5 am and driving 150+ miles for 2 auto-x runs. Any info is appreciated.

Should be at least 4 runs wherever you go.

But there are currently no autox events on the Eastern Shore and all of Delaware. I'm actually surprised that there isn't an event at Dover.

Doesn't Va beach have a bunch o autox's? How far is that from you?

did you check http://www.autox4u.com?

You could attend the autocrosses held at Ripken Stadium by Philly, AI (aitpocrossers inc), Porsche Club, and a few other clubs. I believe Brandywine Region is trying to secure a site in Delaware (at the stadium).

You could try driving up about 1 hour to our events at Park City mall in Lancaster, PA. We would have had an event in York, PA but that was cancelled due to the York Fair starting earlier than expected.

I think he is below Delaware (just guessing) but that would make any site well over an hour, heck over 2 hours. For me to get to Ocean City, Md or salisbuy it would take me about 2 hours and that's a straight shot. I think he just needs to move

Which stadium in Del? Over on the river front in Wilmington or Dover? That would be awesome for me

No autocross is a waste. It's seat time (at least that's what I believe). The furthest I've driven for an autocross was 4 hours down to West Virginia with the Cumberland group. That was a hoot being on an airport runway.

I run with the Philly guys all the time (except this year due to work and money). Actually took 1st in STS last year with them. They are one of the best & nicest people to run with since they have many many National caliper competitors. They are also very novice friendly have have lots of instructors to help you.
