Location of TDC sensor in dizzy. (pics maybe?)
I have a good dizzy and a good dizzy but not a working dizzy.
well it works but getting code 9 tdc. My other dizzy froze on my like a week ago. So i wanted to just swap out the sensor. I check out the FAQ found a link to this http://www.angelfire.com/ca/Dr....html dizzy repair but I can't see what i'm looking for to clearly. Thanks.

code 9 is <U>not</U> TDC sensor, it is CYL sensor - CYL sensor on MPFI distributor is the one closest to the head - TDC sensor is the one in the center - usually when you start getting codes 4, 8 or 9 it is not the sensors themselves that are bad but is distributor with bad bearings allowing the shaft to move side to side - better off just replacing the distributor
Thanks for the info. I'll remove the dizzy tomorrow and see if i'm getting in shaft play. But if it's not? Id realy like to be able to fix this. I don't have the extra cash to spend 100+ bux on the dizzy.
