Engine stumbles when a/c is turned on
91 accord lx auto
Here's the deal...my amp drained the battery a while back due to improper setup. Now what happens is i have very little juice when starting up cold and then its ok. But when i turn on my a/c the engine stumbles like a m'fkr. It doesnt do this when the a/c is off. Otherwise the car runs good.
My ? is since the battery which is fairly old anyway was drained, is the engine stumble just based on having very little juice running or could this be something caused by the guys not doing something with the a/c?.
Thanks!

There is an "air boost valve" on the driverside of the intake near the master cylinder. When the A/C is turned on that boost valve is supposed to open and allow extra air into the intake to stabilize the idle. Check that turkey first.
it sounds like this could be the problem. the car runs fine while it revs above 1k. if i just let it sit idle then it runs shitty.
any chance you could show a pic of the valve? and if its not working right can i fix it or does it need to be replaced?
