Clutch pedal VERY stiff
After installing a new clutch and Heavy Duty pressure plate on my 91' D16A6 I feel the clutch pedal effort is way too stiff for everyday use.
Since this is a cable trans I was wondering if there is anything I could do besides swapping transmissions. (The tranny is freshly rebuilt)
Thanks

Ive been told that I could install (with minor fabrication) a cable to hydraulic kit which may soften up the pedal effort.
So, I thought I would ask the Honda guys to see if they had any success with an aftermarket kit.

I did the same thing (installed a heavy duty unit from ACT) and noticed the cable feel was much more stuff than I was used to. After about a month or so you don't notice it; your leg adapts.
Personally, I would give it some time to see if you can adjust to it before you go looking at throwing parts at it.
Bump for a decent question though: will a "hydraulic kit" mated to a cable transmission help pedal feel? is it even possible?

That probably explains why I have a slight limp and my left leg appears slightly larger. LOL
