Default My 07 Si story !

I just got back from New Rochelle honda in Weschester NY i put a deposite down on a 07 Civic Si and yes it comes with (VSA) Vehicle Stability Assist which is new for 07. I was also given mrsp pricing i was charged nothing over sticker like so many other people got jerked with because they are not patient so right now without any accessory's i am looking at 22,800 after tax and dmv fees now thats a great deal on this car. I wish everyone else good luck on there 07 SI purchase and hope they can get the same deal i got i couldn't be happier right now.

I don't really see the need for stability assist... I only felt my wheels slide (when I wasnt trying) once, and even then I was down on the throttle more than I should have been.

No its full time so you dont slide all over the place and i doubt that sucks for me it makes insurance cheaper plus if some idiot cuts me off then pulls some retarded **** it make's it easy for me to stay in control def a plus i think. I dont like to miss out on stuff like this it sucks 06's didnt come with it now they will feel left out but i am sure some people will disagree.

Don't know about the new SI, or what Honda does now in general for VSA, BUT I had an 02 TL, and VSA was not a complete wussification of the car like Mercedes (for example) does. In that car, VSA could be fully and completely disabled with the press of a single button.

You should be able to since the 06 S2000 has a switch. I don't think it'll make that much of a difference since most S2000 drivers don't notice it besides they all keep it off because of the more fun factor. They'll will be putting VSA on all 07 models, kind like ABS.

07's should not be out till Dec 06. Personally if you can grab an 06 at MSRP I would but that is just me.

Yeah I would love to have VSA, Unlike the systems in Lexus/Mercedes, In Hondas you can usually turn VSA off completely with a push of a button if you wanna slide and have fun, but turn it back on for those unexpected ocassions where it could be a life saver.

MSRP plus fees is a great deal and I think we would sell more Si's if the production rate was increased and the prices kept lower but thats out of our control

I get MSRP plus fees for all the HT homies
