Default 94 b18b1 in 90 crx dx fuel is completely cutting out at wide open throttle ?/

ive searched in the forums and can't find anything specific to my problem. i have a 90 crx dx w/ a 94 b18b1 in it and i just test-drove it around the shop and it cuts out at wide open throttle. it feels like you are hitting a brick wall but anything less than wide open throttle and it is hauling *****. can anyone give me an suggestions on what it could be? the car has been sitting for a while so tomorrow we are going to drain the old gas and put in new gas
i was also thinking that the stock exhaust was too small for the car and was building alot of backpressure. what do you guys think? should i run open header until i get a bigger exhaust piping

suggestions please

chekc the tps
i had my tps wires crossed and it did this same thing. trace em from the ecu to the correct place on the connector. who did the swap wiring?

i was gonna say dont run open header but i see your in kansas. if you do it it probably wont solve the problem but it might sound cool.

a local shop did the wiring job, i did the actual motor swap though. im going to try tracing the wires back tomorrow. today i took the exhaust off and am running open header now. wow is it loud!!! its ok i don't plan on running it open header but for a day or two until i can get it in to a shop so they can do a custom exhaust. now, this motor used to be turbo but has since been freshly rebuilt but i got the ecu that came with the motor and it is chipped. what i was thinking is that the ecu has fuel maps for a turbo motor and as soon as i hit WOT it is flooding the motor ? is this possible?

i was also thinking that my msd blaster 2 external coil was going out. it looks old and beat up

Mehbe the two outer pins on the TPS were not switched as part of the mpfi swap.

I went ahead and switched the two outer wires on the tps sensor and it fixed it!! it runs great at WOT now not cutting out or nothing. now i just need to put an exhaust on. open header is giving me a headache!
