I have about until 10am tomorrow to tell the body shop that I will come up with the rims because they need the car out by Monday.

why not just throw some steelies on and tell them the GSRs are on the way? then find some

 

get some LS steelies with hubcaps and yer all set right?

 

The body shop is an "insurance company" body shop and they can't release the vehicle to me until it is in pristine order. They already let me get away substituting Recaro SRDs and an Alpine MP3 for factory parts but they told me the adjuster won't let donut rims/tires be on the car when she writes a check.

 

Maybe someone could let you even borrow a set of any GSR/LS wheels to toss on? Have you posted this on all the boards?

 

Okay, I will "rent" 4 GSR rims with tires. I would really rather buy them. I would post it on all the Integra boards but it will get moved and deleted anyway.

wait a second... If someone jacked your car, then YOUR insurance covers the damages. If the rims were gone, they should buy you NEW ones. All you have to do is pay the deduct right? Isn't that why we pay way too much for insurance anyways?

It took me 9 NINE 9 months to get 2001 gsr rims. That was harder than finding a GREAT G/f. Just beware the scammers.

 

Yep, but if I find them good used ones, they will reimburse me for the amount plus I won't pay for the deductible.
If not, they will buy new ones from the dealer tomorrow, with shitty Michelins and I pay the deductible.

But i wouldn't expect too much from me. That means I have to buy tires with the new rims i get. Thats way too much money for me to handle...

 

At modacar, a complete set of Subzero 16" is 840 w/ tires. That would be sweeeeet. Just $290 more.
