GSR w/lsd tranny getting a lot of chatter. HELP!!
I just finished swapping a obd1 jdm gsr with lsd tranny into my eg and it has some serious lsd chatter around tight turns. It doesn't matter if I'm going slow or fast but it chatters really hard like similar to when you have a broken axle. It's annoying cuz when i'm coming out of my drivway at night it's so loud and it sounds like my tranny is gonna crack or something. Is the lsd adjustable or somthing. Or would it help to change the tranny fluid. I have fresh 10w40 in the tranny right now. and if it helps the tranny has a brand new exedy stock clutch. Nothing else was done with the swap everything else is stock The tranny shifts fine with no chatter at all when on the highway, straightline driving or any easy turns. It only happens on tight turns like manuevering around a parking lot. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
forget it.. I put synchromesh oil in my tranny and all the chatter is gone. They should call this stuff wonder oil. My car used to sound like the axles were about to snap when I turned and now that I put the synchromesh in its smooth as anything. It's hard to believe that what honda recommends you put in the tranny doesn't work.
