so i let this dude wash my car and he used some chemicals on my volk gt-u's now the lip is all dull and looks dirty as hell....is there anything i can use to make it shine like new again or better

 

polish it with some metal polish like Never Dull.

Yet another reason why I wash/wax/detail my car myself. There are too many idiots out there who only care about making a dollar.

But, the Mother's stuff should work. Hell, Chip Foose uses it.

 

well i told him to use soap n water..imma try alil spot with the "your mothers" polish

 

Get Blue Magic Alloy polish, it works a crapload better, made the piano pedals shiny like brand new brass on our mid 80's piano.
