TYPE R SHIFT KNOB??
Someone in Japan copied the OEM ITR shiftknob and makes them out of titanium. The OEM Honda bag contains the lock nut for the shift ****. The **** itself is not an OEM part.
They're sold on Yahoo auctions for $250 each.

I suppose. But there are those who think they are worth the price of admission.

9 years ago when I had bought my 1st 97 CW ITR,
it came with stupid USDM red stitch leather ****. I want the original JDM Titanium **** since I saw the JDM ITR debut in Honda Showroom back in Nov. 96.
I had my coworker stop by HONDA VERNO dealer and order me a JDM OEM Titanium like this one and it was list price for 15,000 yen but he had relative working for Honda Factory so employee discount still came to 10,000 yen.
Stop by your local Acura dealer and see how much USDM version one cost which came stock in 00-01 R's like mine. To me feeling same, just different material.

Yeah I know what you mean about the red stitched leather **** cause I still have my stock one on. I much rather have the 00-01 **** but if I were to buy one I would buy the spoon shift **** in plastic. For some reason I like the way it looks.

My first R didn't come with the stock ITR shift ****, I'm one of those who spent around 270ish for a brand new one from the dealer. So that one for $250 isn't bad. Depends on what you want though.
270 for a ITR ****? WTF!!! do ITR ***** transfer heat? I have the RSX 5spd optional ****. looks very simlilar to the ITR **** but the heat from ym cat gets absorbed and transmitted thru the stick shift and then to the aluminum ****.

Yeah my friend has an S2k shift **** and when its hot outside and he leaves his car out it feels like its on fire lol. That's the only thing I don't like about it.
I have the spoon black plastic on now and it never ever gets hot. One problem though, the sticker on the top of the **** will rub off dirt from your hands, and soon enough there will be crap all over it, and it looks nasty. I used my fingernails to scratch the dirt film off the sticker, until i tear the thing up. Now i dont know where my 1st gear is
