I need some serious help… I can not get The -04 RC51 I bougth from the US registered here in Norway.

The local DMW will accept documentation on an -04 VTR but my problem now is that The Norwegian Honda importer (Kellox) will not provide these papers (documentation on a -04 VTR) because I have an RVT!!!! The ******…. (VTR=European version, RVT=US version = SAME ***** BIKE!)

Specs on the engine is the most important.

Are anyone in any way able to help me getting these papers in english? I’m willing to pay if there are some work to be done. If I don’t get it on the road soon I’ll have to wait almost a whole year before I can ride it (snow)


PLEASE HELP ME!!!! 

The Norwegian Honda importer (Kellox) knows it's the same bike. They are just beeing difficult.... If the DMW can accept it why can't they(kellox)..?

Anyway, if there are some one that has access to these papers (recon it is standard Honda docs) i would really appriciate if they could provide them for me..

 

i dont know what to tell you except that the european VTR with the white and black graphics was the best looking RC51. good luck.

What are they telling you exactly? I imported my RC51 to the UK and I didn't have any problems with the registation. The VTR 1000 is also the superhawk, so you'd have to clearify that you have the VTR 1000 SP-2 which is the RTV 1000 RC51 in the states.
If they are a Honda dealer of sorts then they should have no problem making a phone call to verify that the bike is the same minus the name.
Keep me updated on what happens good or bad.
