It has come time to where I need to get rid of the 17's for some smaller 15" wheels. I have a friend with some GSR's I'm looking at, so these gotta go. If this deal falls through though, I am willing to trade/$$ for some Si/GSR wheels w/ or w/o tires.

i got the same rims on my cx hb i powder coated them white ...try it it makes them look 100 times better. i would post a pic but i dont know how!

Would you do a full/partial trade for the 5-spokes off a '94 GSR? And do you know how much those wheels weigh apiece by chance?

 

Yeah. Are those the gunmetal ones? I almost prefer those more than the blade looking ones. Do you have any pics of them? I don't know the exact weight of these, but they're heavy. Definationaly not for racing. I'll grab one off today and stick it on my bathroom scale .

flappy, could you email me those pics? Since my CRX is white, I have had about 4 people tell me I should get them refinished white...just don't know where or how much it is to get done. I would love to see what they look like white. Also, how much did you get them redone white?

and another i can get better pics later......my boy did them for free!!!!!!its alot of damn work though,you got to sandblast all the silver finish off......you could get it done for like50-75$though!!!!!!hard to keep clean!

THey look really nice. My dad has a sandblaster, so I can sandblast them myself. What did you do to get them powdercoated white?

i had those same wheels on my integra gs-r a looooooooooong time ago! i sold mine awhile back and got a set of 16" wheels. good wheels, they weigh 21.5 lbs. for one wheel.

 

After seeing the look of them white, I am thinking seriously about keeping them at my "show" wheels when I go cruisin. I might just throw on some drags for the strip. How much would tires weigh on top of that 21.5lbs?

you have to sand blast the **** out of them!thats the hardest part!after that you have to buy powdercoat and electrically charge the wheel and it will melt to it then you have to bake the wheels in a modified oven........the best thing to do is find somwhere that powdercoats,and sandblast the wheels yourself than take it to them,and it will be pretty cheap......maybe make a post to find a place that will do it.
