Heres the situation I have a 97 GSR and the TPS took a **** on me, so i replaced the original obd2 throttle body for a OBD1 throttle body my friend gave me. now to explain easier which direction does the cable go and where does the nipple/button plug into?? Heres the pictures to explain

Does the cable go this direction? and where does the plug of the cable go?

Or does the cable go into this direction and where does the plug of the cable go into?

Swap the cable rotor with your original throttle body. What engine did the OBD1 throttle body come off of? (Obviously not a DC or DB GSR) Does it have a 60mm throttle plate like your original throttle body?
The cable rotor is the part that you are attaching the throttle cable to. (You are touching the rotor in both pictures.) The GSR has a unique throttle rotor amoung Hondas.

You will also need to block the vacuum port that your thumb is touching in the second picture.

Pull on it harder. This isn't rocket science. Plug the holes with whatever. JB weld them if you have to.
