Default Comfortable Clutch for 250-300 whp

right now i am rebuilding my tranny...dropping in itr lsd, 12lb act flywheel, all new bearings....i have an exedy stage 1 right now...but later on i may go turbo and i just wanna get the clutch done now so i dont have to do it later and if i dont do the turbo now i still want a clutch that is comfortable for my daily gsr....I love the exedy clutch pressure....I was looking at the competition stage 3, but any other suggestions?

Stage 3 6 puck will do you just fine. I would go with ACT for that also, since your flywheel is ACT.

I think ur stage 1 will work just fine, Im using stock ls clutch on 250whp and its held up for 10,000 miles, no slip,( I am gonna get better one soon) so I think stage 1 will work great.

can i use my exedy stage 1 pressure plate with a competition stage 3 disc?

ACT HDSS or XTSS. Clutches are rated in torque capacity, not whp, so if you think you will be going over the HDSS's rating of 231 ft/lbs, go with the XTSS.

I am running the HDSS...couldn't be happier with engagement or pedal stiffness.

Just im me . they can be sprung or unsprung. Turbo ef is putting down 320 untuned and there is no slip. We played with the dyno today.

no not yet haha, Im gonna go as long as I can, then get a better one, Im suprised it still holding right now.
