Comfortable Clutch for 250-300 whp
right now i am rebuilding my tranny...dropping in itr lsd, 12lb act flywheel, all new bearings....i have an exedy stage 1 right now...but later on i may go turbo and i just wanna get the clutch done now so i dont have to do it later and if i dont do the turbo now i still want a clutch that is comfortable for my daily gsr....I love the exedy clutch pressure....I was looking at the competition stage 3, but any other suggestions?
I think ur stage 1 will work just fine, Im using stock ls clutch on 250whp and its held up for 10,000 miles, no slip,( I am gonna get better one soon) so I think stage 1 will work great.
ACT HDSS or XTSS. Clutches are rated in torque capacity, not whp, so if you think you will be going over the HDSS's rating of 231 ft/lbs, go with the XTSS.
I am running the HDSS...couldn't be happier with engagement or pedal stiffness.

any one interested in clutch specialties? I carry thoses and they are made to order by brian himself. Let me know. free shipping. Here is one that I have in all of my cars.

Just im me . they can be sprung or unsprung. Turbo ef is putting down 320 untuned and there is no slip. We played with the dyno today.
