Default SEMI-OT: Moving on to the next stage of my life (56k, wait, that's still around?)

don't worry, i still have her

well, a new stage in my life finally awaits me as tomorrow evening I leave to start my freshman year of college. im really excited to get down and be apart of the infamous college experience. i really haven't been able to treat the ITR with new goodies lately due to saving up and purchasing things for school such as laptop, tv, etc. its going to be hard paying for the R while at school, but in the past two years i have really planned ahead with finances by being able to pick up a beater and getting that ready to go back and forth while still keeping the ITR safe in her garage.

really the main point of this thread is to thank you guys for all the help and support I have recieved over the past couple years. i mean, being younger than the majority, it has been tough to get people to take me seriously, but a few people I want to thank that have been really cool and supportive, which i met through expo 6 (probably the best time of my life) are:

swell rider
migs
jon d
dave b (aside from sunroof jokes)
comp97gsr

hopefully i'll continue to meet more of you as the years go by at meets and events on a side note, i'll be in indianapolis for school at butler university

now on to a small photoshoot i did before i leave. the pictures aren't the main part of the thread, and yes i know what the car needs, but funds aren't readily available. enjoy, and thanks again although turn signals are en route

i have many more pics, just editing through them though. these are unedited.

Good luck! So what's the beater? Getting one is a real smart move A guy I knew in college brought his NBP ITR to campus (U of Rochester) and it was broken into 2-3 times, eventually stolen.

the beater is a 1996 ford ranger 4 cyl. manual

150,000 miles, just finished updating all service: timing belt, fluids, etc

runs great and picked it up for $1000 cash last year

Bah, no feelings hurt. But, I do want a complimentary shot of your sunroof. Because after all, we all know it's an LS...

Good Luck with school man. Have a blast while your away and in college. Be stupid and screw off but don't let your grades faulter. Keg stands at a stripper party FTW!!!

College is the ****

I had to leave my car at home last year and dont regret it one bit. The last thing I would want to worry about when I have Calc at 8AM is if my car is okay. Your focus while at school shouldnt be your car. It should be on doing good.... oh yeah, and getting *** . Its also nice to take it out when you come home... makes it a little more special.

So whats your major?
