Default KYB GR-2 anyone?

Anybody have any experience with this shock? Especially in relation to the AGX?

From Tunersports it's about half the price of the AGX.

They will be run with H&R Race Springs.

Thanks.

I have the kyb gr-2s on my 97 accord, and it rides fine. It is kinda pointless in my opion to go with the agx, unless you go to the track every weekend. the gr-2s are allready a sport shock which gives a stiffer jounce, and faster rebound then the oem shocks. they also are ported to work good with lowering kits. so unless you think you need to take off the wheels and change the rates every month then I don't think it will be worth it.

I was told on some other forum that gr-2's were not good to lower on because it is a stock replacement. I dont know if this is true though.

They are really not much of an improvement over stock shocks, but I was rocking them with lowering springs for 2 years and there was no problem whatsoever. The ride was very comfortable and not at all bouncy.

They're a stock replacement. Don't bother. H&R Race will destroy them in no time at all. AGX won't be too much better.

my friend totally destroyed all four KYB GR2s in under a month, to the point where they were internally seized and the insides were clanking, he was using Eibach springs
