I have the chance to buy a JDM GSR block with 11.5 to 1 Weisco pistons, ARP rod bolts, resurfaced OEM crank, bored .020 over, all new OEM bearings, and some other stuff I cant think of off hand. The block is reinforced, but I cant remember the details. The guy wants atleast $1700, what do you guys think?

 

If its sleeved then yes, if its not then no.

 

everythings assembled already, sounds about right. maybe a little less, depending on what was left out.

 

this block just came out of the machine shop as well. never used yet. I dont think he said anything about if it is sleeved, but I will find out.

 

i would go for it. every thing is already done for you. just bolt it up.
