Story about car:
Summer 2003: Bought car, I drove it a year untouched
Summer 2004: I swapped the head and did various things (some things are documented on my website: http://www.geocities.com/senpai_performance/ ) That same summer, some punk broke my driver side lock and window. The car sat in my driveway; I also own a 2000 civic.
Summer 2005: I began working on it again slowly just cleaning her up.
Summer 2006: I finally get almost everything done, pass emissions, start driving it around
Reason for trade: I don't want to trade, but my sister really needs a car. She's new to driving and can't even drive stick yet. She's trying to learn, but this way is easier. Me being the good brother I am, I want to trade this for another car and just give it to her.
Trades accepted: I would consider anything import (some american cars)with an automatic transmission. It has to be a 4-cylinder and preferrably a 4-door. No or little cash on my part.
Engine:
D16a6 cylinder block (strong motor, great compression)
D16y8 cylinder head (around 100,000miles on the head)
D16y8 camshaft (around 50,000miles; I bought the d16y8 head without one)
D16z6 fuel pressure regulator
*new* STR adjustable cam gear
*new* HONDA OEM D16y8 metal headgasket
*new* HONDA OEM D16y8 timing belt
*new* HONDA OEM valve cover gasket
*new* HONDA OEM headstuds
*new* AUTOZONE waterpump (have receipt somewhere)
*new* CHECKERS battery (last weekend, have receipt)
*new* NAPA alternator (last weekend, have receipt)
*new* AUTOZONE fuel filter
*new* AUTOZONE 96-98 D16y8 intake manifold gasket
*new* clutch set with throwout bearing+pilot bearing
resurfaced flywheel
dual bend short shifter
polyurethane shifter bushings
Suspension:
front MAXSPEED coilover sleeves + KYB GR2 shocks
front upper strut bar
rear upper strut bar
rear lower tie bar
*new* driver side lower ball joint
*new* wheel studs in rear
Brakes:
*new* front brake rotors
*new* front brake pads
*new* rear brake drums
Electronics:
volt gauge
oil psi gauge
liquid filled fuel psi gauge (uninstalled)
summit racing rpm switch with relay and vtec activation led
Other:
Installed new driver side window
I wired the engine harness (inside the loom) for a b16 swap (4 wires)
Installed new driver side key cylinder (also comes with new passenger side)
Comes with DX seats installed
The transmission does not grind but it makes a hissing noise
Comes with rear speaker pods + cargo cover
