Do any of you guys have a problem with your FI light or know anyone who does.

 

I dont have a problem on my K6, but my friend does on this.

 

Yeah my friend just found out that it has something to do with a box under the tail that opens the valve in the exhaust. So now the part is just broken and it is on back order until the end of september.

 

Its called the set valve.. alot of people have just been removing them. Sign up to gixxer.com and go in the 06 forum. There are a million topics on it. Some people have had luck with tightening some of the cables and other things. Mine hasnt been bad. its only come on 3 times since ive owned the bike. People also had them on the dyno and when they remove it it gains 3 hp with no losses. They think its mainly for emissions.

 

Yes M3blue is correct, i disable my set valve and the bike feels great.
