Default Searched for fitv question and no answer

My car idles high when the car is cold and after searching I found a lot of people have or had the same problem. Most threads I read said that the fitv could be the problem. But I do not think my 92 civic with a stock d15b engine and tb has a fitv. So what can i adjust and or replace to fix the problem ?? Should I just change the aic valve ?? And if so what controls the idle in my car when it is cold. It idles fine when warmed up. Doesn't the aic control the idle when the car warms up.

not sure what you are looking for it is normal for the car to idle high until it warms up. it should idle around 1500-2000 rpm when it is cold. after the car is up to normal temp it will idle around 500-600rpm.

It is abnormally high and it is throwing a error of code 14 which is the aic.
