I'm new here and not up on Honda's and the engine family's yet. My question is can I install a 1.5 carburated engine from an 87 CRX in a 91 Civic 2dr hatchback that has a 1.5 FI engine that is bad. The 87 engine is in a wrecked CRX, manual shift and the 91 is an automatic with a bad engine (overheated and won't run). Can I just swap the FI parts from the 91 and install them on the 87 to make it FI or is there much more to it?? I've done some quick searchs but haven't found anything yet. Please help...thanks!

 

I'm like...99.9% sure it won't work. You can pick up a D15B2 and replace the civic engine for like...100-150$ if you do the labor.
