Well I just got hit on the bike going 40 mph, I was side swipped pretty hard on the right side, but I managed to keep the bike up by throwing my body weight towards the side of impact to couter the hit. There is a lil damage to the fairings as far as scratches go but nothing major. Best part is that i didn't fall off or it would of been ugly.

 

damn that sucks, glad you are okay.. i almost had that happen on the high way, but i kicked their door and they freaked.

did they stop ?

Yeah she stopped, she was an old lady she was prolly more shaken up than me. She gave me a hug and what not, lol.

Yeah we worked all that out I'm searching for places to take it in for repairs. right now it just looks like paint and some decals.

Well the layout of the road is 2 lanes west bound and 3 lanes east bound, I was heading east bound in the middle lane and she was in the outside lane then turned into my lane and hit me.

 

Riding in a blind spot?... I would not accept repaired fairings, I would demand new. Unless your scooter had older fairing on her, good to hear your okay

Yeah I just got off the phone with a local bike shop here and they also told me to go with new.

LOL...same thing happened to me...old lady hit me and was like crying and hugging me...

I was mad at first but couldn't stay that way...she reminded me so much of my grandma...

Also i just found out that my rear brake peddle assembly is also loose.
