Please help! my car is making a squealing noise. only when driving, at a stop the noise stops. its loudest when i reverse and start to brake. sometimes worse than others--I'm at a loss---please anyone who has any ideas or suggestions......

 

Does it come on when you apply the brakes..?

 

squealer tabs on the front brake pads are trying to tell you something.

 

Yeah it could be an indication that your brake pads are real low or it could be low/warped brake disks. Mine does the same but brakes fine and the pads are real thick. If it is the 2nd, just make sure your pads aren't low and youll be fine if you dont mind the annoying noise.
