hi.. im searching' information to made a swap in my car, this is a accord coupe 1999 2.3 4 cyl manual tranny... i want a H22a JDM engine... so, what i need to put the engine on the car ? tranny swap too ? its compicated to do ?... o searched but not found what i need.. all is about OBD1 engines with 93-97 accords.. i love that car, buuut that have only 150hp.. i want more. but no turbo... love the H22 sound.

h22 is not as popular for the 6th gen vs. 4th and 5th gen.

why? the new chassis weighted alot more than the older cars, 200hp 160ish torque will not justisfy the cost of the swap(3grand) if you ask me.

don't join the "swapped and still slow" club.

I am baised because i had a turbo before, and yeah, h22 is nothing if you running a turbo under your hood.

h22 will swap into your car with minor modification, i think one of the mounts are different and that's it. I recommend you to use the h22 gear, just to have the proper ratio, LSD japanese spec tranny if you can dig one up down south.

F and H tranny is pretty much interchangeable, well, minus f20c
