Default should i go itb's or turbo??

what do you guys reccomend for a 2001 gsr??? my motors fully built for n/a but i was thinking on going turbo and changing some internals to make it turbo capable. and on the other hand, i was thinking to go itb's instead. keep in mind its driven maybe only maybe 2 times a week and always on the weekend to rip **** up.

Have you thought about nitrous? I'd go that route.

Otherwise, turbos the way to go man. N/A is awesome but usually expensive and you really cant make much over 240whp N/A without some serious work. Slap on a turbo kit with a decent sized turbo and you'll have atleast 240hp. If you have forged internals then look for around 300hp with a decent tune.

Instead of ITB's have you considered running a ported intake manifold and tb. they have some amazing results (pretty close to ITB's), and are dyno proven. It is alot cheaper than ITB's and not as much work to install and probably easier to tune. I'll try searching but if you get a chance search in the All Motor forum, they had a pretty good extensive thread discussing it and showing before and after graphs.

If you are set on going turbo, instead of changing some things on your block, why don't you consider selling your block and picking up another one and building it specificially for boost. It might be easier.

QFT

I have seen a few people jump up good amounts (5-25hp with tuning) by switching out IM's.

But a single throttle body will never have the incredible throttle response of properly tuned ITB's.
