the tail lights bulbs have 2 filaments. one for braking(bright light) one that open normaly(fade light)

Check if they have any filaments broken in them. normaly theres a black spot on the bulb like if it was burned. it may still work for braking since you shouldnt be using it as often .

you might just have a loose connection, I had the same problem about 2 weeks ago, the brake lights would come on, but the regular lights didnt, so I went back there, opened the cap, played with the plug, and voila, they came on. That's probably what happened to you, especially if they were on before you switched the light bulbs, you probably left the plugs loose or something??

Tail light fuse.

Welcome to my under dash grounding problem. I pop those fuse on a regular basis. It's gay, but I'm fixing it soon. I beleive it's fuse #6 or #7, check the under dash fuse panel, it will point you in the right way. Also, while your at it, check all the fuses and make sure they are ok and the proper amp. Never, ever, put the wrong amp fuse in the fuse box, that's how you burn wires and blow relays and what not.
