6500 is a lot for a ls. esp salvaged. i wouldn't pay more than 1500 for a salvaged car.

do some more searching ... neither are very good deals IMO ... 6500 is way too much for any integra with a salvage title, especially an LS ... and the GSR ... if you want a nice paint job its gonna run you at least 2 grand, plus the interior could get pricey (hard to tell without pictures) ... anyways, your looking at at least 3 grand to get it in nice shape ... plus it still has a salvage title ... I got my 97 GSR 2dr with 97xxxK for $5700 ... clean titled ... mint cloth interior ... minor dings and perfect paint ... personally, i would stay away from anything salvage titled ... wait and get something clean, or look for something less expensive like an eg ... you'll be much happier in the long run

dont knock a salvage car before you see it.

my 2000 LS is a salvage. i bought it with 67000 miles for 5300. never been in an accident and there wasnt a single mark on it. it even had GSR interior

I thnk the only salvage car I would touch is the one where interior or some **** was stolen, hence theft recovery...accidents always suck, but it was salvaged for a reason, and 3500 for a 98 GSR is a helleva deal, too bad it needs a lot of attention.

are you talking about the white 98 front end? local in san diego? if so is clean, and the paint job worth over 2k already, plus as long is salvage from theft? or like not really significant then go for it, i mean salvage, for example some clean title car doesnt mean it never been hit, it just never been report to insurance or carfaxx. so to me i dont really care

btw, most integra in california is salvage, about 70 to 80 percent now a day is theft, reason why is because integra take 6 spots on top 10 list for most stolen car in 05, and tell me do you care if is salvage even though is not even in an accident?

Acording to the blue book both are worth a little over five but that is probably too much.

6500 is definitely way too much for a salvage car. I mean I'm selling my turboed LS with a straight title for 6000.

I wouldn't pay six k for a non-factory turbo car. I wouldn't trust someone elses work... knwo what's already wrong with it... know how hard you drove it ect. The further a car is from stock typically the less it's worth.

It depends on mileage. How many miles are on the car? Is it stock except for the front end?

Yeah... sounds like a good deal. I would carfax it as well. Carfax can give you a general idea of what's up.

Yeah and thats why people are willing to pay more for a faster car? People pay up to 6 grand or more for a gsr swapped hatch.
