ls oil pump on a b16????

my oil pump on my b16 blew and i have an extra ls oil pump and was wonder if i could use this on my b16

it should...but isnt the b16 oil pump much superior than the ls? why would you want to down-grade. i know you have one laying around but i think you should just get another b16 one.

the bolt patters are the same but the vtec oil pumps pump more oil then the non vtec u would be down gradeing if u went with the ls. and besides do something right the first time so u dont have to go back and do it agian.
