Can someone tell me the proper set-up for Jun 3s
I think i'm gonna blow some money on the Juns..Anyone have advice on cam gears, ecu, fpr, etc....I want to do it right the first time and any help would be appreciated...thanx.
the cam gear settings are gonna be trial and error.. i ended up at +4,+2 myself. get a jun ecu for plug and play performance.
JUN recommends 0, 0 and to use their ECU. My Friend tried a Mugen ECU with the JUN IIIs and it sucked pretty bad. The JUN ECU makes all the difference in the world.
I run the Jun3's are would suggest the following for best results:
1. JUN ECU, you simply can't beat it. But it is very expensive.
2. At least a JDM DC header.. If you have the money get Jun, Toda, SMS, ect.
3. Cam gear setting at 0,0 if you run the JUN ECU (Just like dplatt said
)
4. Thin head gasket for a bump in compression (since you will have to remove the head anyways)
5. Well designed intake+Exhaust.
With those basics, you should have a very fast car on your hands.

My Setup:
JUN 3's (Cams, cam gears, ti ret., dual springs)
JUN ECU
JUN Header
2.5" Cat
A'PEXi N1 Exhaust
MUGEN Head Gasket
Mucho power! I am very happy with this set up.
I will also vouch that there is no better way to run the JUN's, then with their ECU.
If you need to order an ECU, or any JUN parts, I can point you in the right direction. Just E-mail me.
