i have a 97 gsr, and i been searching through recent and archive content..with no avail on finding a "How-to remove throttle body"... my main concern is the actual cable itself that wraps around the spring loaded piece, do I unbolt the 4 bolts first, to loosen the tb, then slide the cable off the spring loaded piece? then remove the tb from there?...if any one can direct me to a thread on how to do this. will help a lot!

 

open the spring loaded piece all the way, then unwrap the cable, theres a little ball type thing at the end, slide it out. then the cable is off, then unbolt the throttlebody if you remove it, when you put it back on, make sure you replace the gasket.!!

 

the tb gasket right?...can't reuse it? might be warped?..could i get it from like autozone, pepboys..etc or from the damn dealership
