are you kidding? there are 100s of civics with h22 swap, if you searched you would have known that it is "safe to carry it in there" with proper mounts

It's definately safe with the proper mounts. I've seen it done with stock civic suspension, but I reccomend upgrading to something stiffer, ya know? The swap roughly weighs I think around 350-400lbs. Somewhere in between there.

I say a D series complete weighs 200lbs,

H22 can't be more then 400. You can fit them in, tight squeeze in the EF or EG chassis, but they fit fine with the mounting kits. Upgrading suspension is not necessary, it's basically like driving around with a fat chick all the time, only this fat chick can give you alot more torque and horsepower then your D series, you know?

Don't some companies offer SPECIAL SPRINGS for H22's in Civics? Progress maybe. People feel free to bash them....just tossing ideas.
I do remeber when I was looking into H22'ing my Civic, suspension is key to having a great setup or as said above.....FAT CHICK all the time!
***No offense to fat chicks, youre great for 4am Drunken Booty Calls!!***

If the OP had half a brain to search he would have found it all out. There is a great write up in the forum just dont be a lazy *** and look for the answers yourself.

Ummm guys, I think he means putting the engine IN THE HATCH AND/OR TRUNK of the Civic. Meaning he's trying to transport the motor, not questioning the swap portion.

I have a shipping receipt from my last H22a swap and it was quoted at 600lbs. Shouldn't be a problem since that's around 4-5 people worth of payload. Getting it into the hatch/trunk would be a challege though.

Sorry man your original post was a little vague. It sounded as though you were asking as if you were swapping. LMAO

I barely fit my H22 swap with tranny in the back of my explorer, I strongly recomend a truck.

Damn, did I get overcharged?

A truck is nice, or an SUV. I fit my H22a4 into the back of my 4Runner. Just make sure to put something underneath it, we had an old tire.

The H22 weighs in at 384 lbs.. the B18 at 349.. not as different as everyone likes to think.

Not sure how much the tranny weighs, but you might be around 500.
