P28 Datalogging.... possible through DLC Connector with stock chip?
Hoping someone can help answer a question for me.
I have a stock p28 honda obd1 ecu. I'm wanting to do a bit of datalogging before actually chipping the ecu and purchasing a rom burner. Does anyone know if it is possible to datalog with a stock chip using the dlc connector? I saw a small post about the connector on PGMFI.ORG but it doesnt say much. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks
Tek

In theory, yes, but with Crome at least, you have to load datalogging software onto the ROM so it can read the information... so you will probably need to chip it first.
No it is not. You need to have quick datalogger + rtp plugins on the eprom you are running in order for crome's datalogging features to work.
You also need to remove rp12 on the ecu.

You mean J12? I thought that was only required for Uberdata?
