Default 1994 accord LX has problems

I was changing the spark plugs on my 94 Lx when i noticed that 3 of the 4 plugs had oil all over the threads. Only one of the plugs didn't. Just wondering what might cause this. Also, my brake fluid has started looking brown as of late and my brakes have become somewhat mushy, any ideas on either of these problems would be appreciated.

A possibility is a leaky valve cover gasket leaking into your spark plug cylinder and then down, and will eventually make a pool. That might not be the issue but is a potential to throw out there. If it's not it will be a more difficult issue..
Also I thought it would be nice to bump the thread..

since you will have to replace your tube seals to solve this problem, you might as well buy the whole kit and replace all of the neoprine rubber parts

valve cover gaskets... you can buy a kit at autozone, orilieys, where ever, for like $20. Be carefull putting the valve cover back on, those studs dont take a whole lot of torque, I have broken a few... there like $7 at honda, but they have order them.

that's your problem with the spark plugs.

as for your brakes, brake fluid is like your oil, it requires changing periodically. It becomes contaminated and over time water & air will get in it. That will reduce your pedal feel since air compresses much easier than brake fluid so you have to press the pedal harder to get the same amount of braking at the calipers.
