I'm not used to power steering on the Honda Accords(CB7s), but I know this cant be right. On my sister and my car(her's is a 91 LX, mine is a 90 LX), the steering shakes and when turning it feels like the p/s shuts on and off(My mom's old Nissan Quest and Chrysler Concorde is smooth). Mine is much worse than hers though, I almost hit a parked car because of it(when i had first drove the car). Anyone know what the problem is?

mabye ur p/s pump is giving out

 

flat spots on your front tires will cause that. Have you had your tires checked?

 

I had my tires off a few weeks ago; they looked fine; plenty of tread(but I will take it to a tire shop for a second opinion).

How hard is it to drive without the power steering period? I don't really want to spend alot of money on this car.
