searched, noise from front end?
setup: ls swap in civic coupe.
so im having a weird noise coming from the front end/suspension; it only occurs when coming to a stop, but not when im actually braking. when i let off my brakes and roll there is a lite clunking from the front passenger side. i doesnt sound like any bad axle noise that im used to hearing and it goes away when i got faster than say 20mph.
there are other issues as well. when rolling under load i get a lot of hum, like really bad road noise, but this comes from both sides or what feels like right in front of the firewall. it gets a little better when im not accelerating, but it still happens as long as im rolling.
the transmission is also a bit more notchy than usual lately. i havent checked the fluid yet due to rain almost every day after work.
could this be a bad half shaft? wheel bearing? input shaft bearing? or is it all just bad axles?
thanks in advance!

rotors and pad as fine, i was able to check those a few days ago.
the alignment could be off. i thought about that too as there has been a lot of road work on my way to work, but would that cause the clunking? i know it could be part of the hum.

its a manual. im hoping its not the trans. not that ls trannys are hard to come by, but its money that i dont want to spend right now.
i will be swapping the axles this weekend. is there any way to check the half shaft? just spin it and try and wiggle it around?

My car was just doing the same thing and it was a shot lower ball joint. It really started to sound like crap. Put a new ball joint in and fixed the problem.
