will Ledgend engine fit in an accord?
Will a 1988 2.7L v6 c27 engine from a acura ledgend bolt up the same to a 95 accord 2.7L v6? I know that there are some differences but are the engine Blocks the same? Thanks Dustin
I can't comment on whether or not a Legend (not ledgend) v6 from a 88 will fit into a 5th gen Accord.. but it sounds like a backwards idea either way. If you're trying to get into v6 power for your Accord, your best option is the 5th gen V6 Accord motor which will swap in, but not without a lot of work. If i'm not mistaken, it's not fun swapping in a v6 motor as everything is much differently setup than the F22; mounts, hookups, etc. are all different.

Legendaryyaj was the only one who realized that the OP is starting with a 5th gen V6 already.
civichatchbacksi,
It shouldn't be a problem, assuming the mounts are the same. Although I couldn't tell you what kind of wiring you would need to do, if any.

they looks almost identical, i personally have a 89 legend myself.
why tho? you will not find one without at least couple more years on the ticker.
unless you can scope the jdm FI motor, they have some sort of FI kit for the legend in japan, it's VERY VERY rare

I believe the block itself is similar and you would be able to mount it up without too much difficulty, but as far as emissions equipment and wiring go I think you may have an issue.
