let me try this a/c question.... anyone know what the proper oil charge is for this compressor ?? cant find this spec in the manual..thanks

 

I believe that its 8 OZ of PAG 150 oil total. If you've had a leak, its impossible to determine how much lubricant has been lost so you know how much to replace.

Thanks Hondaman ... i later found a capacity chart for different year Honda systems and found it to be 5.50 ozs. of PAG 46

 

Ben, where did you find the chart? Two years ago when I was rebuilding my AC in the 1994 Accord I could not find a chart to save my hi-knee. A consensus on professional AC boards and from Honda techs was 8OZ of 150 PAG which I used and it was OK. I'm wondering if they made changes to the system from 94's to 95's. L8R...
