im planning to buy a B&M Short Shifter. is it necessary to buy a short shifter adapter to go with it as well. will the short shifter also directly fit into my car without the short shifter adapter? and also what would be a good shift **** to go with the B&M SS

 

Short shifters suck, but B&M is probably about the best of them. My old one bolted right in, it came with nylon bushings to adapt it to the stock linkage.

 

Never heard of a short shifter adaptor. I have a skunk2 it bolted right in and I love it.

 

also look into the shifter possible colliding with the exhaust, this happened to me, just beware of that problem as well.
