How hard is H23 swap (engine only) into 96 Accord?
My friend will sell me his 1992 H23 for $75 so I can put it into my accord which now has a f22b2. I heard that most of the main components bolt right up (exhaust and intake manifolds, alternator, power steering, etc), is that true? I also know that I'll have to buy a OBDII to OBDI convertor for the car.
I also have to rebuild it because the guy who had it before my friend ran it low on oil and "fried the rings", should I just get higher comp pistons right away too? Any tips/suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

I'm doing the swap right now into my 95 accord ex (f22b1). it's not to hard, just the wiring held me up for a few days since I didnt have much time to fiddle with it. I'm not sure about the exhaust, but the header is different on the h23. alternator and p/s bolt right up though as long as you have the brackets for the h23. if you have any more questions ... feel free to pm me
