northern virginia, 1996 Honda del Sol DOHC VTEC Black 160HP
1996 Honda del Sol DOHC VTEC Black $5000 OBO
- 1.6L, 160 horsepower, manual transmission
- bought new in summer of 1996, original owner, currently ~115k miles
- completely stock, except where noted below
- vin #JHMEG2172TS0000128
- original, newer seals that do NOT leak (previous years had a service bulletin for the seals because they leaked)
- includes AC
- timing belt and water pump replaced around 85k miles
- regular maintenance includes mobil 1 synthetic oil
Last year:
- replaced air filter, radiator fluid, rear brakes
- 4 new bridgestone turanzas and alignment
Two years ago:
- redline transmission fluid, spark plugs, muffler, front brakes
- new kenwood cd/mp3 player
- new infinity reference speakers, front and rear
May need soon:
- oil change
- that's it!
Because it's a 10 year old car and was kept outdoors, it's got 10 year's worth of weather wear. But I think it's worth your time to see the car in person. Mechanically, the car is great, runs great, doesn't burn oil, doesn't leak water around the seals, and overall is a great, fun car to drive. Planning to buy a mini-van because I have greater needs these days. $5000 OBO.
