Question about Insurance
I did some search but couldn't find it so here i am
I am picking up a motorcycle at virginia from new jersey. But the thing that i'm worrying about is that god knows what will happens when i'm riding six hours to new jersey from virginia, its literly five or six hour ride. In other hand, I cannot register and get policy because the title and everything is in virginia. And no i don't want to spend 400 dollar on shipping. Is there any insurance where I can just get it for a month or so? or any advise would be appreciated

Why can't you get a policy? Get the VIN from the seller, call your agent, give them the make, model and VIN and whammo... you're covered that very second. It doesn't matter where the title is and it doesn't have to be in your name first.

in my state we can get temp regestrations for liek $14 bucks.. when ever i buy a vehicle that i "have to go get" i call the vin into my insurance comp. and have them fax over the temp polocy to the town office and then get the temp regestration... problem solved.
