Default Any ITR's running Z10 Engineering traction bars?

See title. Wondering if anyone here is using them, and their opinions? I'm giving thought to picking some up. Thanks

Nobody has them? If you guys know people who have them and their thoughts, I'd appreciate them sooner then later.

I got them.

Upon just basic installation and loading I could definetly feel a difference with launches on the street. (On stock suspension). I tried launching and getting as much wheel hop as I could before I put load on them, and after I loaded them I could only get a small amount. I haven't yet had them on the track, (which will be soon!) but before I do I will load them while the suspension is being aligned. (Tein HA's added as well).

What Sackdz said. Just make sure you load them evenly or your car will pull to one side. Also if you load them to much, the wheel hop gets worse.

I'm here. I love the Z-10 kit. i have driven both at the dragstrip and at the track with the kit on. Jeff Gale (Jgale) And I were worried that the kit would act like a front swaybar and cause the car to understeer.........NOT AT ALL.....The cars turn in was more precise than ever before. It was point and shoot. NO adverse affects at all on a roadcourse.

On the street, Picture sitting in a left turn lane, not dropping the clutch but flooring it from a 5mph role. The car will just hook and pull around the corner with no drama.

At the drag strip: My car runs mid 13s all motor. It was hard to drive and every second gear shift was met with wheel hop. The z-10 kit eleminated ALL of it. No wheel hop. I was not any faster but it was much easier and more enjoyable to drive.

My suspension is set up with Apex n-1s, lowered about 1.5", cornerweighted and 2 degrees of negative camber on all fours. The z-10 kit was preloaded 2 full turns and then the alignment was done.

No I don't work for or with Z-10, But they should be paying me

Good luck getting in contact with anybody at Z10. I've sent emails to 3 different people (president of the company included) to buy some parts and no replies at all.

Dropspeed,

I remember there was some talk orignally when you put the kit on about it possibly binding the suspension. Any problems with this? Any mantainence required on the kit?

No, That was a concern at first. After installing and inspected the angles of the kit and then a few laps on the track all of my concerns were wiped out. No problems with tire rub either, I run a 205/50/15 hoosier on a 15x7 kosei k-1 45mm offset. As far as maintance before it was installed on the car I took what little there is apart and put anti-seize on all of the threads and lubed all of the sperical bushings with mobil one. No problems so far. My car is not a daily driver, so it sees no snow/salt and very little rain.

Jeez, u ppl take stuff too seriously. I sed $500 cause it seems no one can get a hold of z10 and I was playing off the sudden high demand/low supply situation. I don't want to sell it, I'm just saying that for $500, I would.
