wierd altrnator problem?

Default wierd altrnator problem?

ok i have a d16a1 swap in my rex and the drivers side mount had to be fab. well while the mount was getting done i drove it around for a few days not ******* it fresh rebuild, but ne ways my altornator bracket got ate bad by the cv well now i have the mount on and evrything is fine but i was wondering if the altornator bracket would be alright and when i mean bad it is bad there is like a perfect half circle cut into the bracket from the cv i will try to get pics up in a lil bit

Thats definetly not good. Its hard to see the extent of the damage. Can you get a better pic. IMO that bracket is strong as f..ck so I dont think you have anything to worry about. But then again its really hard to tell how far it rubbed down into it.

It looks like it even rubbed a nice section of the alternator.
