OMG what is the diffrence. I just need deep bass! 10" sub Rockford vs Alpine.
Ok, I need help. 2 channel pioneer, rockford or sony under $170.00. I was told that a mono Alpine v power m450 amp would be better, since I will be buying a one 10" rockford fosgate. I have a truck box that fits a 10 sub.
ALPINE Alpine - 10" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer SWE-1042
600W peak, 200W RMS power VS
RockfordRockford - Punch 10" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohms Subwoofer P210S4
Capable of handling 400 watts (peak) and 200 watts RMS
OR P210D4 DVC Capable of handling 500W peak and 250W RMS
I just want nice bass sound. I don't care much to be heard.
Please help.
I don't have a big budget. I just don't want cheap stuff.
Screw amp into box or place in the trunk?
Thanks in advance>

I would do the rockford fosgate. I like the sound of the one you posted vs the alpine. I would not use the truck box thou because most of the time the airspace is not correct. It just built to throw a sub in the back. What is your budget?
sony amps are lousy, pioneers are good for mids. the rockford or the alpine.
a rockford p3002 and a p2 10" dvc would work excellently together.

Yeah right dude! I have a Sony XM-2002GTR 1200 watt amp, and it's awesome! It power's my MTX 6000 series subs with 250 RMS perfect, nice clean deep loud bass.
I highly recomend this amp to anyone who's looking to power sub's with this kind of RMS.
» 200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (250 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms)
» 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)
And it's only $200
