Whats the best Accord car Alarm???
I have a 97 accord Ex 4 door. And Im going to get a new car alarm for my car but I dont know what kind to get. A lot of people tell me different brands but I dont know which is good. Someone wants to sell me a hi-tech car alarm but I never heared of that brand. I was thinking about a clifford.. Its that good??

Clifford is renound for making killer car alarms, relatively good pricing, and for the trust so many have put into them, I would go with one.
Alpine makes good ones as well, they just cost a tid bit more than what you're looking to spend.
Go to the Audio/Stereo or security forum on the site, there are a lot of knowledgeable people in there on this subject.

Do a search in the audio forum, I cant type up all that info. Here are the basics. You need to know what exactly you want, b/c you cant base it off $. DEI is an excellent company, they own most of the market. It is all about layers of protection.

clifford is probably the best for the $$$$. they just got bought out by DEI who also owns viper. i just got one(clifford) and love it. auto door lock/unlock, remote start lighted entry, blackjack anti car jack device,,, the works for 395$ installed. now if your budget is lower than that, you can always buy the basic goodies for about 250$ and upgrade the options as you can afford them,, good luck!

Clifford was bought by DEI (almost 2 years ago, I think) and DEI will NOT support Clifford anymore. Clifford is good, but If you got them installed correctly the first time, otherwise it's pain in the ***. I've been using Clifford 'till 98.
DEI makes good alarm, such as Viper, Python, etc and they are not pricey. Go get some audio/security magazines, the last time I saw, there were a lot of two way - paging system alarm Ad in the magazine, which I have Aladdin for almost a year now, and they are excellent.
