1992 GSR now what??
Okay so I just picked up a bone stock 1992 Antifreeze green GSR.
Rockin the 1.7 liter Dohc Vtec.
Now I've had my hands on B16's and 1.8s before but never the 1.7.
I know the intake manifolds are different but will the B18 parts such as headers and cams fit this motor??
I'm not going to do anything crazy with it.
I just want some headers, some slightly more aggressive cams, and I got to throw in the SAFC2( I have like 3 lying around anyway)..
So thats it, do those parts swap around??
Also what do you all feel are some of the softer riding cheap coil over dampers out there.
I know theres Ksport, Megan racing, D1 and Omni power.
I'm not going to slam it to the ground, just lower it a couple of inches but I don't want a harsh riding set.
I rode on the omni powers in a DC before and those were to stiff for me for daily driving. Fine for the fun in the mountains but not for every day especially with the potholes around here.
I like the D1 but only after I went and got softer springs from Swift.
So for not wanting to swap springs and being cheap on it all what do you think rides well??
I think I might go with the megan racing. I rode in a mazda miata, mazda RX7 and a Subaru STI with megans on and they rode really nicely on the street with aggressive lowering.
But I never rocked these on a teg or a civic.
Any feedback on these???
Thanks for any info.

nice find. I'd love to have a 92-93 gsr for a daily driver. I'd do basic bolt ons, nice wheels, and a lip and just drive that beautiful rare honda.
It actually has a Mugen style front lip and some very mild side skirts with some wrap around rear bumper skin. It's all color matched to the original paint so it looks okay. But back to my question. Will the B series stuff also bolt on to this motor??
