alright im useing obd0 Si harness. Now i have one plug that doesnt reach whatever ill lenghten it. THere is a plug on my harness that is rectangle but i have a circle plug left on the manifold...


i thought everythign plugs right up if i used my obd0 harness(got dizzy adapter)

my y7 block doesnt even have teh right coolant sensor control. The one it has is on the thermostat instead of the back of teh block unlikes my a6 block..

people who have done d16y or z swaps please chime in and tell me you had to do some custom wiring/plugs.

 

I'm surprised you didn't research that part. I've personally posted the information at least half a dozen times in the last month.

You have to lengthen the wires for the fan switch, along with changing to the apropriate plug. You have to extend the IAT plug by a few inches to make it reach around the back of the manifold easier...it's the round plug and sensor. And the small rectangular plug is unused.

 

i searched over and over but i couldnt find it. even did a d16y8 search and read all the threads. must be named something else.
